My Story

I'm a self-taught photographer and videographer working in the world of sport, live music, and adventure. Since 2022, I've told stories through digital stills, film, Polaroid, and video, but my journey started years earlier, behind the scenes of events across South Africa and internationally.

After seven years in event management — standing at finish lines, start chutes, and aid stations - I watched the raw emotion that sport pulls out of people: the exhaustion, the joy, the disbelief at what they'd just achieved. It was there that the desire to share those moments with a wider audience was born. As a sport enthusiast and passionate trail runner myself, I shoot with the understanding of a participant, chasing the moments that leave us breathless, give us goosebumps, and stay with us long after the race is over.

My work covers a few different worlds:

• Sport — trail running, road running, track running, mountain biking, gravel biking, road cycling, Ironman, climbing, HYROX, rugby, and water polo

• Portfolio work — shoots for athletes, brands, and influencers, from personal portfolios and brand campaigns to social media content

• Film & Polaroid — event, travel, and party photography captured the old school way.

• Landscapes — mountains and natural landscapes, from travels along the way

• Concerts — the energy of live music, captured with the same eye for raw, unscripted emotion

Outside of work, I'm a runner and trail runner at heart — always looking for the next adventure, traveling, exploring, and meeting new people wherever I go. My work has taken me to some of the world's most iconic sporting events, and I've collaborated with brands and publications I truly admire.
